  4.    PC with Windows 3.1 or higher
  5.    Program files, including supporting files requires 200k hard drive space.

  7. RGB Hex Features:
  8. Creating Web Page with Netscape and Internet Explorer color elements:
  9. TEXT=   LINK=   VLINK=   ALINK=   BGCOLOR=   COLOR=
  10. BORDERCOLOR=    BORDERCOLORLIGHT=     BORDERCOLORDARK=
  11. requires using hexadecimal notation for the Red Green and Blue color
  12. values. They are not easy to visualize or convert from decimal values.
  13. Many HTML editors have limited or no options to help either.

  15. RGB Hex (RGB Color Hexadecimal Calculator) adds these features 
  16.   -links to your favorite HTML editor or word processor
  17.   -enter RGB by number or color
  18.   -see a sample color of the RGB value
  19.   -see RGB values in both decimal and hexadecimal 
  20.   -format hex values to paste into your web page in
  21.       -upper or lower case,
  22.       -add #, quotation marks to save keystrokes 
  23.    AND
  24.   -paste the hex RGB value into your web page document in the format selected
  25.       -with clipboard control, or
  26.       -Auto Paste (allows easy switch and paste)

  30. If a setup program is included:
  31.   run setup.exe for step by step installation prompts.

  33. If there is no setup program with this distribution:
  34.   then install the RGB Hex program files to a temporary directory.

  36. Place these files in: C:\RGBHEX  (Or a directory of your choice.)
  37.    RGB.EXE
  38.    RGB.HLP
  39.    README.TXT (this file)
  40.  
  41. Place these files in: C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  42. (Or where .dll and .vbx are kept on your system.)
  43. (Not required if a newer version is there already.)
  44.    COMMDLG.DLL
  45.    CMDIALOG.VBX
  46.    VBRUN300.DLL (not included, available from many sources)

  48. Add the RGB Hex program startup icon.
